The 4th of July is not my holiday to celebrate, but if the rest of Boston is out tonight, I see no reason not to partake in the festivities. If anyone's interested, I'm calling a car to take us downtown around 11:30. I simply cannot stand the tension at this school for another minute!

Happy Tuesday, Camulus! I would like to remind everyone that we are here at the academy to develop our abilities, to expand our knowledge and to become civic-minded, enlightened individuals and worthy representatives of our countries.
Let us not forget, however, the philosophy of working hard and playing hard. Study and train diligently over the next several days so you can unwind at Saturday's social! You do not need a date for this event, so do not fuss over finding an escort. Such worries are so unnecessary, darlings. We will all have fun together!
If any girls (or adventurous boys, I suppose) have not found an outfit, you are free to browse my closet. My publicists discourage me from wearing anything twice.

Congratulazioni to all who participated in Junior Missions, and welcome home, darlings! I regret not being able to accompany my friends and colleagues on such an incredible experience. Unfortunately, the schedule interfered with a very important press week throughout Italy to which my publicists and I previously committed. A sorry excuse, certainly, but to protest what my government asks of me is so silly, no? My apologies -- but I hear you all did such amazing things. What courage! I am immensely privileged to attend school with all of you, and believe me when I say that I used no one here as the inspiration for the 19-page answer I mustered up in response to the question, "What is cowardice?"
Besides myself, who is excited for next week's summer social?

I realize you'd like to be well rested for next weekend's summer social, but you know how those school-sanctioned events are -- well, simply that -- school-sanctioned. How dull! I am hoping everyone has recovered from ingesting innumerable tons of food the other night. :) We have a week and a half until Camulus' much-anticipated summer social! However, as our societies' social chairs, we all understand that these school-sanctioned events, to be frank, rarely cater to the student body's definition of "fun." As per our good president's suggestion, shall we begin planning a block party between our five societies this Saturday?
